The short version: Njord's Compass is a tool for tracking what you own and understanding market news that affects it. It is not a broker, an advisor, or a bank. You own your data, we own the software, and nothing here is financial advice.

1. Agreement

These Terms are a contract between you and Njords Compass LLC ("we", "us") governing your use of njordscompass.com and the Njord's Compass application (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for keeping that account secure and for everything that happens under it. One person per account.

3. What the Service is — and isn't

The Service lets you record holdings you own (stocks, crypto, cash, commodities, collectibles, real estate, and liabilities), see their estimated value using third-party market data, and receive AI-generated commentary about market events relevant to those holdings.

The Service does not connect to, link, or transact with any bank, brokerage, or exchange. It does not hold or move money or securities. All holdings data is entered by you and its accuracy is your responsibility.

4. Not financial advice

Dispatches, signals, Oracle answers, valuations, and every other output of the Service are informational only. They are generated automatically, may be incomplete, delayed, or wrong, and do not take into account your personal financial situation. Nothing in the Service is investment, tax, legal, or accounting advice, and nothing is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset. You alone are responsible for your investment decisions. Consult a licensed professional before acting.

5. Plans, trials, and billing

Navigator includes a 30-day free trial. A payment method is required to start the trial; nothing is charged until day 31, and you can cancel any time before then at no cost. Command Center has no trial and begins billing immediately.

Subscriptions renew automatically, monthly or annually depending on the plan you chose, until you cancel. Prices are in US dollars and are shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase; we will give you at least 30 days' notice before any price change takes effect on your plan. Payments are processed by Stripe under its own terms.

You can cancel from Settings at any time. Cancellation stops future charges; it does not refund the current billing period, except where required by law.

6. Your data

You own the holdings data, images, and messages you provide. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to operate the Service for you. We do not sell it and do not use it to train AI models. See the Privacy Policy for details on how images are discarded after processing and how to delete your account.

7. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to access other users' accounts or data, or to probe, scan, or disrupt the Service.
Do not scrape, resell, or redistribute market data or AI output from the Service.
Do not upload content you have no right to share, or that is unlawful or malicious.
Do not use the Service to operate a brokerage, advisory, or other regulated financial business without our written consent.

8. Third-party services

The Service depends on providers we do not control, including Google, Stripe, market-data feeds, and AI model providers. We are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or actions, and their outages may temporarily affect the Service.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, name, and logo, belongs to Njords Compass LLC and is protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use it under these Terms. Do not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer it.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of data, or uninterrupted operation. Market data may be delayed or inaccurate. AI output may be wrong.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Njords Compass LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or for any investment losses, lost profits, or lost data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

12. Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, and we may discontinue the Service with reasonable notice. Sections 4, 6, and 9–14 survive termination.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. For material changes we will notify you by email or in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept the new Terms.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing a claim, please email us — most issues can be resolved quickly and informally.
